This juried annual show is always a lively array of styles, media, scale, and content. Numerous awards and scholarships will be given at the reception. Many of SBCC’s art students have gone on to noted careersin the artworld and related creative fields. Artworks are for sale. 

The juror is Judy Larson, Director, Reynolds Gallery, Westmont College.Previously she was the director of the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C.  She also directed the Art Museum of Western Virginia in Roanoke, and served as curator of American art at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia. She holds a Ph.D. from the Graduate Institute of the Liberal Arts at Emory University, Atlanta. 

Ms. Larson will give a public lecture on Wednesday April 8, at 4:30 in theSBCC Art Department, Humanities Building, room H220.

The title of her talk
will be, 
Artists Around the World: A Global Approach to the Visual Art
