1.0           CALL TO ORDER

 

                  1.1          Approval of Minutes

 

M/S/C Approval of October 29, 2003, supplementary Academic Senate meeting Minutes (Carroll/Chesher) Unanimous

                 

1.2           Proposed policy change would allow for the use of banked TLUs to support an intentional underload. Request was made for additional formatting and cleanup of policy #1914, which was distributed at the start of the meeting.

 

By unanimous consent it was agreed to return Policy #1914 ³Underloads and Overloads (Unbalanced Loads)² as an action item for our next meeting, 11/12/03.

 

 

2.0           ACTION

 

2.1           College Calendar, 2004-2005.  Four (previously distributed) options available. 

 

M/S/C To adopt Academic Calendar Option #2 for year 2004-2005 (Garey/Rose) 1 nay. See adopted calendar following item 2.2 vote.

 

2.2           Question related to approved calendar: Should we adopt February 11 or February 18 as Lincoln¹s Day Holiday?

 

M/S/C To approve Feb. 11 as Lincoln¹s Day Holiday generating two 3-day weekends in February (Rose/O¹Connor) 1 nay, 1 abstention.
